This position will help drive the Ergo Software Solutions technical design function to becoming a Centre of Excellence (CoE). It is responsible for overall technical direction plus the establishment & maintenance of all related development standards.

Role Description
- Design, development and deployment of web applications based on .NET technology
- Design and build an application development framework for the .NET framework to improve quality and efficiency of code production.
- Taking technical leadership roles on projects and ensuring the solution is delivered in accordance with the architecture
- Production of the overall architecture for a solution to a client problem, identifying the major components of the solution and their relationship with each other and the overall business.
- Interaction with customers throughout the product/project life cycle
- Contributing to business development activities as well as involvement in tender preparation and presentations
- Mentoring of developers
- Cross project reference point on component based solutions
- Input to functional/technical specifications
- Input to Off-shore relationships
- Maintain personal knowledge base of design & development best practices
Essential Skills
- 7-10 years relevant experience required
- 5 years ASP.NET, C#,VB.NET, SQL development experience essential
- Consultant experience
Ideal Skills
- Knowledge of Financial services industry
- Project management methodologies: PMI/Prince2
- Offshore development a bonus
